just load up your 93 octane tune....or your performace tune.

when you go to modify the performance tune, just add one degree of timing everywhere. add one degree in the global. add one degree in the 0 - 2krpm range, one degree in the 2-4krpm and one degree in the 4-6k rpm. load the tune. take it out for a test drive. listen for any new noises that were not previously there. if you dont hear ANY NEW noises, then go and add another degree of timing everywhere. test it out.

keep repeating the process untill you hear it knock/ping....once you hear it knock, then back off the timing by one degree (where you just had it prior and it ran fine with no knocks), and you'll be at your peak/max spark advance for 93octane. find a way to get your octane a little higher and then repeat the above process to find its peak.

make sense??
it does make sense... thanks alot!

wel I just changed the timing went with 2degree 0-4000 and 2 degree 2000 to 4000 and 1 degree for 4000 to 8000. ran good felt alittle stronger and smoother. I think I wil keep it here for awhile even though there is no ping. I will give it a week to see if one develops.

stay out of the negatives....i have never used livewire......but surely the lower the number (negatives included),equals- the lower the spark.
