Default bracket of top of manifold

behind the upper plenuim. that black thing with a swivel top on it..what is it..it has 2 vacuum lines running to it a green 1 and a red 1 for me

i broke 1 of the lines on the box and need to know what its called to ask the dealership to order me a new 1

It is all EGR stuff. Nothing to do with cruise control. My cruise works fine and I don't even have that bracket on my car anymore.

Our cruise does not run off Vaccum. So it is not that.
From what you discride it sounds like something to do with the egr system

only thing i see with a "swivel" is the vacuum line going into the top of the egr valve. anyone else see something i dont?

I believe it is called the EGR vacuum regulator it has two vacuum lines attached to it. There should be a box shaped thingy on the back of the bracket with two lines connectingto the pipe that comes off of the egr valve to the header. That thing is called the DPFE sensor.

definitely part of the egr system. if you have a diablo or sct u can elimiate it and not worry about installing it, unless you have to worry about emissions. if you go to the dealership, the can bring up a pic of the manifold with all components attatched to it along with part #'s, that would make it easy to get what you need. i would say just just get one off a junk car. good luck.

yep. went to the dealership and it was a part of the egr crap. 32 bucks replaced it for a new one
