Default BRAKES!!!

Quick question guys- my gt needs new brakes, and i was considering getting new rotors as well, Brembo slotted rotors if i do, ive heard that they warp and stuff if the car sits alot, and this is a good possiblity since im going off to college next fall. Im gonna put Hawk ceramic pads on it; what do u guys suggest, leave the stock rotors on? or get the brembos, and what about the warping?( i live in northern va, so it gets *** cold and butt swampy hot here)

I've got 40k out of my slotted/drilled rotors and Bendix pads. Stock rotors only lasted 15k before they started warping (alot of interstate stopping). The pads are just as important as the rotors.
