Chirping 2nd with gears
I have stock gears, and I can chirp 2nd gear, its pretty hard though i really gotta redline 1st, shift into 2nd let clutch out and and immediatly floor it..
do people just keep the gas floored when shifting to 2nd for a real good chirp?
im guessing its way easier with gears because you will be at a lower MPH after redlineing 1st.. is it possible to chirp 3rd with gears on a stock GT?

RE: Chirping 2nd with gears
You should get a little more of a chirp even with stock gears. Dont powershift it cause these trannys suck lol. But shift fast and right before the clutch is released already be back on the gas. Dont wait until the clutch is already fully released to get back in the gas.
With some 4:10s you will go sideways in 2nd pretty easily and get a nice baaaaaaark in 3rd.

You kids are funny on how you judge a car on if it can "Chirp" tires. You can chirp any Manualy shifted car going into 2nd[8D]. Now a car spinning tires going into 4th thats impressive.
"chirping" 2nd is cool if your 12
