Default clutches (your preference)

i am looking for a streetable but stronger than oem performance that offers a nice pedal and doesnt break my wallet.......king cobra any good i found it for 250


whats it like changing a clutch on an 01 4.6 and with mine being an 01 why is that the cut off year?

king cobra is a good clutch lots of mustang owners at the track have them. look at AM
make sure you have the right Tranny first

I know you can look at the tag on the driver door jam, it should tell you there.

Feb 2001 is the cutoff date when the switched the transmission from the t-45 to the t3650. Anything built in or after Feb 2001 has the t3650, Jan 2001 and before has the t-45.

Centerforce DF is the best clutch for these car IMO. No chatter, smooth engagement, light pedal pressure, excellent holding power.

I just looked at my door sticker and I didn't see anything for the transmission. But with a build date of August 01 you have a t3650 unless for some strange reason its not the original transmission.
