Rocker Arms FELL OFF!!! Help!!
Ok so I pulled the Valve covers off today. I started on the passenger side where the ticking noise was the loudest. Low and behold I found the 2 rear rocker arms laying in the bottom of the head. Also two other arms had some slack... Can someone please chime in and tell me what would cause this, what the effects of this is are (potential damage).. And what I will need to repair it.
I really want to fix my car.. I really need some help..

To remove the lash adjusters with the cam followers already removed, just pull them out. To put the followers back in without taking out the cam, you'll need a spring compressor.

did you have the valve covers off or were you working on those parts previously? The only thing i can think of is if the valve spring was weak, it may not be returning fast enough causing room for the rocker arm to jump off.

Not really sure how to answer that.. I had the valve cover off to check the ticking it the top end.... I have some sort of oil starvation in the top end i guess..
