I usually didn't unless I noticed a problem such as misfiring. Matters the type of plug also. Are you using a cheap copper plug, or a platinum for example.

If you have the stock plugs in there, you should be good for awhile.

ok...but when should i change them? i mean is there a recomended schedual for preventive maintanance or is it the "fix it when it breaks" this is my first ford up until this i owened chevy pickups and they got recomended services to have done at every major mileage like 6 12 18 24 36 48 54 65 72 86 and 100 thousand miles... other then oil lube filter and checking other fluids...
i was just wondering if there is anything i can have done to prevent it from breaking down on the road i hate being stuck on the side of some desolate highway lol..

If they are the factory platinum's, they are "supposed" to be good for 100,000 miles.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAH, on that note, my cars 5 years old, (obviously), and when i went to replace my stock Motorcraft platinum plugs, what i pulled out were the biggest rusted out pieces of S**t i have ever seen, corroded like some S**t, my car had 30k miles on it at that time btw. I put in some Bosch Platinum +4s, and they work more that great, swap thos stock p.o.s's out A.S.A.P buddy, u wont regret it.
