Default Electric Fans

Have a question, I have an 00 Gt and notice that when I turn the car off the E-Fan quits running. Even if I have the key turned to Acc. mode the fan will not run, unless the car is running.

When Im at the track I would like to be able to turn the car off, and allow the fan to run for a few min. to cool the fluid in the radiator and to move a little air around the engine to help cool it down a little quicker.

My E-Fan working correct like it is now? Or should it be running for a few min. after the car is off. If that is normal, anyone know what wires I can tap into and put a switch under the hood so that after a run at the track I can pop-hood, and flip a switch and let the fan run for a bit??

Thanks
Tom

its operating as designed, the fan will not run unless the key is in the run position. you could shut the car off and then turn the key back to run without starting the car, this should kick the fan back on untill the engine temp gets too low.
