Default Should i get a tune?

i have a 99 GT 5spd vert and i was wondering should i get a tune on it my only mods are CAI, UPR O/R x-pipe and 3.73's i need to get rid of my check engine light and recalibrate my speedo...should i get a tune while im at the shop or just leave it? its $175 diablo tuned

if it's $175 for a chip with a basic tune on it, go for it.

Yes, even a dead stock GT will benefit from a premium fuel tune...

yes. thats where most of the horsepower comes from (when getting a tune), the tune advances the timing, which requires higher octane gas (to avoid knock/ping), and gives up a few extra horses.


edit: oh and 175 per tune.....even if it is just a canned diablo tune, i would do it, for that cheap!

[/align][/align]Yes, if you want to get full benefit--but so what? [/align][/align]Around here 93 is still only 20ยข a gallon more than regular. that means that 12 gallons of 93 will cost $48.60 instead of $46.20--whopping $2.40 more, still raises heck with $50...[/align]
