Hello, Im new to the forum, I have an 01 GT 5speed, convertible, and I have a few issues with the car. Seems to be impossible to find somebody to fix it. I've tried different mechanics and even a visit to the dealer and still...
I heard about this forum and I decided to give it a try and see if someone has any idea of what can I do or where to start.

I don't know if the problems are related or are isolated, but i will try to explain them the best i can...

1- intake is leaking water through the gasket, I can't see where, but Is in the back of the engine, took it to a mechanic that quoted me $500 job to replace the gasket, told me gasket is expensive and i looked for price and got one set for $30 in AutoZone...
Fore some reason I have had water preassure issues with this car, I don't know if is for the bad gasket or if is something else and water is escaping for the weakest way....

2- oil leaking. This is weird because this is what happens. Due to the water leaking as i explained above, the engine gain temperature and one or two spark plugs stop working, oil start to leak from someplace I can't find, hits the hot exaust pipe and that creates a ton of white smoke....I even took the transmission out (at the same time I changed the clutch) to see and nothing... no oil.... after the cars gets cold, engine start working fine again....
I found water in one of the rear spark plugs which i thought it was coming from the intake leaking, took the water out and car started to work fine again, but then again, and this time no water in that same plug....

I have other minor issues but this is what I need to solve asap to so I can get back to the streets...
any idea where to start???

I must add that the car has a different air filter (the one that looks like a cone) and I believe it has a chip or something, thats what they told me when i bought it...
