Default My Mac lt dilema...

Well I installed my Mac lt headers and QA-1 K member. Like some others I ran into a problem with my steering shaft rubbing on the header. I've used the "search" function on here and several other forums but i'm not finding a solution to the problem. The steering shaft goes through the headers so it's the bottom of the shaft that's rubbing the top of one of the header tubes. It's the rubber ring on the shaft to be exact.

Is there anyone here with a 2000 to 2004 mustang gt that has installed Mac lt's and run into the same problem that can give me their solution?

Yeah slide the rubber ring up. I have been rolling like that for years and no problems. Or get a flaming river or MM steering shaft that deletes the rag joint.
