Default mustang chugging

I have a 2001 mustang gt that has been chugging in lower rpms when its under a load. I've checked the coils and replaced the spark plugs, but it still chugs. Changing the plugs helped a little bit and putting FI cleaner in it will help it for a couple days. Any thoughts as to what it could be??

I haven't replaced my fuel filter. It feels like a misfire when driving it. When i checked the coils the spring seemed fine with no black line or anything... Is there any other way to check them?

It probably is misfiring, you can double check by pulling out the plug of the misfiring cylinder. It will be black. I think you too need a new PCM calibration from Ford... there's about 10 threads on here with the same issue.
