One other thing that is different on the cobra blocks is that they come with knock sensor bosses on either side of the valley under the intake that have to be ground off to clear some manifolds like the KB. But the whole water jackets not lining up is BS. My cobra block works just fine with my 2v heads.

You do need the engine wiring harness, timing cover, headers and intake to do the swap.
Cool thats what i wanted to hear. i was looking at thewireing diagrams, looking atpinouts, especially, and all of the ecu pins for a 03-04 cobra and the 00 GT seemed to be the same. the only extra sensors would be the knock sensors and a few boost sensors.
dont forget you also need everything under that front cover, etc etc. I would definatly do a price up before ordering anything....

Well I'm pretty sure the the primary chain works for both and I would hope that the secondary and gears would come on the heads. Tentioners and guides are the same and you can use any oil pump.

So oxfordgt, how much would you think all the parts would cost to do a 4V swap on an original2V motor?
