01 GT gas milage

RE: 01 GT gas milage
It could be, but only because fuel gauges are often quite inaccurate...The tank holds 15.7 gallons, about 15 of which are actually useable if you really used 7.5 gallons in 65 miles then there'd be either:a giant black cloud everywhere you went;a trail of raw gas on the ground;or you drove 65 miles in third gear--which brings up a point, where were those 65 miles driven, at what speeds in what terrain?Fill it up again and see how many gallons it takes, that will tell you real story.

sometimes my mileage looks like its really bad but like cliff said you gotta fill up to actually see. fill up and reset the trip gauge, and then drive for a few days and then fill back up and divide the miles on the clock by the gallons on the pump

i get about 65 miles to half a tank on a daily basis and my car is running strong as ever, i was skeptical also but its because i only do city driving right now. I shift at 2k rpm but since its so much stop and go im getting 8mpg on average. On the highway i usually get about 18MPG.
