it only has to be lifted out a few inches not all the way out, but the k-member has to be dropped, so if u guna do that i'd throm in a tubular k-member to save weight and stiffen the front end a bit, u can get one from QA1 for like $300

its a lot of work, no matter what the k member takes work to get out the engine lifting isn't the hard part. Thats why if you're going to do the work do LT's, shorties can be done without taking out the k member but you must remove the motor mounts. either way its an all day job maybe 2 days if you're inexperienced
