my throwout bearing went about completlely out today cause everytime i push the clutch in it speaks very very loud, ive only had it for maybe a month and new it was about to go out , but and anyways i ordered a spec stage 2 clutch , a friend of mine has a stage 3 on his camaro and says they are really good and stout , is my stage 2 that i ordered a good choice, also will i notice i difference at all with a new clutch , like i said ive had the car for a little more than a month and i knew the clutch was going soon does anyone else use this brand of clutch

I put the stage 1 on my '96 when throwout bearing on it did the same thing. Love the clutch. Definitely a change from stock though. It's more of a performance clutch and "grabs" hard. Yeah, SPEC is a good clutch. Can't say much for their salesteam or website, but their product is top notch.

i got the clutch off ebay but that sie cfm.com has them for the same it was 287 for the clutch and after shipping it was 312 although the worst part is it cant' be shipped till may 4 which really sucks

SPEC recommends 500 miles the majority of which is stop and go traffic. State you shouldn't do any full throttle accelerations during that period.[sm=gears.gif]
For one thing it void your warranty! Mechanics vary in their opinion as to it's validity, but the idea is it helps mate the new clutch to the flywheel.
