Default Coolant levels-warm or cold?

I'm a little confused about the coolant levels in the 99-04 GT. In the manuel, it says to let the engne cool down, and fill it up to the specified "cool level" on the tank. theres only one level, and its not marked as warm or cool level, and its kind of near the top of the tank. I suspect If I filled it to that level while it was cool, it would overflow once the engine got warmed up. on the other had, why would they make a level for warm coolant if youre not supposed to add coolant when its warm?

lol, first off, why are you even filling your coolant? is something leaking? that should be your first concern.

Second just fill it to the line, worst case scenario it drips some onto the ground when it gets hot, it has an overflow tube for when it is over full, its really no big deal. they dont want you filling when it is warm/hot due to risk of injury such as exploding radiator cap spewing hot lava onto your limbs or FACE. just wait till its cool and fill it to the line, it is the cool line anyway... just thought i would throw all that bs in there
