Default adjusting pinion angle with upper control arms????

i am wondering how to adjust my pinion angle properly with my upr double adjustable control arms. how far do i need to extend or pull the arm in? i found one thing that said 8 3/8" between the front of one bolt to the outside of the other bolt. that was for a 05+ so i guess my car is different because mine won't adjust that far. so i'm looking for any of your ideas of how far these bolt holes need to be in order to have the correct pinion angle. thanks

You need a degree gauge. You want to set your pinion at negative 2 degrees. Get a gauge with a magnet on it so you can stick it on the end of the pinion and adjust the control arms until the pinion is right.

2 degrees is for a car with solid bushings. 2.5 to 3 degrees is for poly bushings and 3-4 is for stock rubber. Counterpressure is right you have to use a gauge.

Pretty much the same answer, measureing the bolt will not help anything if the pinion angle isn't correct. I think Sears sells the gauge you need for about $15 and then depending on the bushings in the car, set the angle for what you have and just don't go overboard as it starts to affect the ride. Once you get it set you will be amazed at the difference, good luck.

What lower control arms do you have? If they are stock style(like most have) then your pinion angle is gonna be fine even if your lowerd. Just make the adjustable ones the same sizeas the stock ones. You don't need adjustable uppers until you change you instant center. So basicly if all of your control arms mount at the same points as your stock ones did, your good to go.

If companys weren't so money hungry they would adverstise that with the part.
