PCV valve

RE: PCV valve
ORIGINAL: oxfordgt
I deleted it because I have aftermarket valve covers that have no baffeling in them and I was sucking oil. I vent to the atmosphere using hose catch cans and filters.

yeah mines an '02 and they def don't yank out, it twists one half turn out, though when I first called Ford to see how much a new one is, they said there are 2 different ones that my car could have. One was a heated one for $43, and the other that it could be was a plain old PCV that was $5.

it's not bad really if its workig fine, but for something so easy to replace, and not expensive, i like to replace or at least clean the PCV. You can just take it out and buy some carb cleaner and spray it down real good.
