Default supercharger vs. PI swap

i need some opinions, would yall recommend i buy a pair of P&P PI heads, a pair of lumpy cams, and a new intake manifold. Or to just buy a supercharger. By the way, the car is an auto and the only mod is a set of 4.30 gears

I just put the PI swap in and I am waiting to get it tuned. I will let you know next week. How do you like the 4.10s? That is my next mod, but I have heard mixed reviews on it like if you are using you car for weekend driving and not much drag racing it is a waste of money. Another one I have heard is that your gas mileage goes way down. I also have an automatic and that's why I was considering the 4.10s. How many miles on your automatic?

Go with the supercharger. the swap would cost less but gain less u get what u pay for. Ifyou spend a couple thousand on an intercooled or aftercooled s/c kit the gains will be much greater as stated above me^

ok, first off, my car averages about 17 mpg, and i found an older cobra motor for 400 bucks and i have a shop down the road from my house that can rebuild the heads, new everything with a good p&p for a total of 1200 bucks with another 400 to install everything onto my GT shortblock.

the s/c will only make u lose gas milage if your in boost so whn u wanna still make the 17mpg just stay off the throttle until somone wants to race thn u show thm what youre made of.
