V1 S-trim price check?

V1 S-trim price check?
Are the V1 S-trim units any good? Are they just outdated? I realize they are louder than the V2's and SQ's. I found a set-up for a descent price and don't want to just jump all over it without consulting the general public beforehand..lol Thanks guys.

Power and efficieny wise, they're idenitcal to the V2 SQ. (According to vortechsuperchargers.com)The V1's have straight cut gears so they're much louder than the helical cut geared v2 sq. If you can get a good deal on a V1 and you don't mind the louder gear noise, then definitely go for it.

Well if you got all that new in a kit including the injectors, chip,maf andfuel pumpit would be like $5,000.
You could everything you need to install for $800 brand new from vortech, get a used headunit of your choice for $650-$1000 and do a diy intercooler for say $300.
The choice is yours, make sure the blower doesn't need to be rebuilt and everything really is complete and in good shape.
Edit: When I said you can get everything you need for 800, that doesn't include the maf, injectors, pump or tune., all of which you'd need to get anyways if you got that one you see for $2450. It's not a bad deal.

I would rather get a Kennebell, but they are too pricey to buy new and very hard to find used. Also, a n SQ would be preferable but I was thinking this was a good deal. I need that link!...lol
