Default PI SWAP
i have a gt 97 auto and i was wanting to do the pi swap from american muscle do i need to change the stock heads or will it they just bolt on

Thats not a PI SWAP! You need to be more specific in your post. A complete PI swap involves swapping heads, cams, and intake manifold.
