Default choosing the right springs/retainers

I just purchased a set of heads of an 02 GT with 30k miles on em. They look perfect, the guy i bought them from just did a headswap for patriot stage II's.

I'm getting the heads sent out for a nice port/polish/valvejob and i'll be ordering either a set of cushman stage I NA cams or stage II blower cams.

Now for the magical question: with ported heads and a stage I cam, what type of springs/retainers/valves etc etc are ideal? I dont want to buy something designed for much higher load than necissary and end up losing power, but is a stock-style valvetrain gonna be stout enough for a more aggressive cam?
