oxfordgt, our cars sound VERY similarly built. Mine has 280whp, 310ft/lbs of torque and full suspension with nitto DR's. Still haven't gotten a chance to run it at the 1/8th mile track because I am battling bad gas but will hopefully get there in a couple weeks.

ox, you say you have so much in suspension, what do you have under there that costed you $3k? I'm starting to look into suspension myself because I have a few bolt ons and don't want to rip the motor apart yet to do anything else, so I figured I'd rip the underside apart instead hha. My car never or barely spins off the line, sometimes spins going into 2nd, so I wouldn't know where to start since a lot of the parts I see are for traction. sorry for jackin the thread a little hah

you chase down 03 cobras... lol? a 400+ hp car with decent suspension, tires. taken down by a sub 300 hp car with good suspension and tires. yeah... even from a dig by the time they hit 2nd gear they would overtake you like nothing. hell my car could take yours and iv been beaten by termi's. not to ask to be flamed but its just hard to see that happening. iunno maby the **** cobra tires play into it.

LOL the day a 96-98 gt or cobra (without a SC) beats me I will sell my car. I didnt say I can chase down cobras they have to chase me after the launch. I launch at 5000rpms with no spin. They launch at idle and spin all over the place. My car launches so hard that I broke the driverside axle. And I did that with nittos. Oh and my engine isnt stock other then the heads and cams (actually only 2 things left on the car that is stock) so don't go talking **** like you can beat me unless you put up what you got.

LOL Wanna race me in your one eye bandit when I get back in Dec.? Or you can wait till next spring if you want when the weather is nice but you better get rid of that stock motor and get a better power adder then N/X.You don't really think taking the headlight out works do you?
