Anyone have an actual weight for some of them? I'm considering pulling my back seats but I'm not going to bother if the kit just adds a ton of weight back in.

Also, what is this? I removed my spare tire and this tape pad thing is over something that's squishy. It's stucks on pretty well and I haven't taken it off yet. I found a few dimes in the spare tire well to. Wonder how the previous owner pulled that off

i went exploring in my spare tire dip last night too! i found one of those cheap *** sport pedal covers! as for the seat delete, if you have leather itll save you around 8 lbs, if you have cloth you rlooking at around 5; i did a seat delete because it just looks really flush and i hate having people in my back seat. Also, you can pick up a hot chick out of a group and her ugly friends cant come!

Yeah I'm a fan of the way it looks to. When I had a sedan I had people in the back... three times at most. 8lb though... lame. Maybe I can get some foam and stick it in there so it doesn't look as bad as having nothing.

That tape that is over that "squishy thingy" is nothing more than a rubber plug for a drain hole. The tape is probably there to hold it so it won't get pushed out. I had the same thing on my 97. I remember because I had to seal it up for my custom speaker box install. I put dynamat over the hole.

I was gonna install this kit but then when I looked at the pics on AM I realized how ugly it looked. Instead of replacing the seats it just makes it look incomplete in my opinion. I mean the seatbelts are still there and it still looks like a seat, just a really uncomfortable one lol.

i would pull the seatbelts and their systems along with the seat. that seat really doesent weigh alot. and it really can look good if you add your own custom touch to it.

I have the kit in my 05, my friend had one is his 03, the 05 looks way better. it makes these cars look like we should have a sub box or sumthin in its place.
