LOUD yet legal!
What is the loudest exhaust to run for a gt 4.6 but will pass inspection. I understand running no cats will make it alot louder but what is the least restrictive cat that will work for inspection and whats the loudest exhaust setup. I really want a raspy mean exhaust so i was thinking Longtubes to 3" piping all the way back to some kinda of LOUD muffler like a single chamber flow or super 44. I dont care if i lose torq, i wont be racing. Any idears or sound clips

catted X pipe with LM1's. Loud and legal, lot's of rasp. no need for 3" pipes either.
I have LM1's with catted h. > http://s171.photobucket.com/albums/u...LM1CattedH.flv

hm yeah sounds pretty nice. im in love with the 3" piping and i made the mistake on my 1970 with going with 2.25 and it wasnt loud at all $1000 bucks later so im definetally going with the bigger tube and LT headers insted of shorties. What about a 3" SLP? do they make such thing? Also is it legal to have a non-catted x. isnt it called an O/R x pipe?

RE: LOUD yet legal!
can you do two high flows? I really hate cats. idealy i would like two at the most. Whats a good high flow cat? ill probably just bring the headers, 2 cats and 2 mufflers to the local exhaust shop and have them build the 3" piping out the back with an h or x. so an h will be louder and an x will be raspier but quieter?
