how to tell if your running to rich
Every time I start my car or sit at a light with my windows down I can smell the burning of the fuel like it is running to rich specialy when i get on it. she puls pretty hard and goes through all the rpm ranges very clean now bog but she smells rich. should i lean her out by 2 percent with my sct. or would i be running the chance of damaging the engine. I aslo run premium tune and advanced the spark all the way no pinging what so ever.

You can not adjust for a rich idle or cruise with sct only WOT. Should have bought Sniper. If your timing is all the way advanced there is really nothing else you can do with what you got. Don't touch the WOT fuel adjustments without a wideband.

You have an o/r mid pipe, that may be the reason why your smelling the gas. But you wont really be able to tell if your running rich without having a wideband or a dyno readout with a/f ratio.

+1 no doubt its the o/r pipe. At idle the cpu adjust for rich or lean by itslf. It would bog whn u go to take off if its was rich. So get used to the smell or close your windows all the time lol.

BS black smoke dont come on till 10.5:1 a/f ratio. Anything more then 14.7:1 is running rich at idle. Yes it is because of the o/r mid pipe and you will have to deal with it until you can get it tuned.

Oxford thanks for the info alwayes can count on you for putting me in the right direction. Guess I will just need to take it to steeda and have it dynoed tune. Just did not want them to set it to the max.

16's is way to lean for idle. Idle should hover around 14.7. When I say hover its because of the switching method that narrow bands use to regulate a/f ratio.
Don't get me wrong you are not running any richer with the o/r midpipe then you were with stock its just that you can smell it now because the cats arnt there to burn the exsess fuel. Advancing timing at idle will cure the smell problem but you can not do that with a hand held just a dyno tuner or sniper or sct pro racer < I think but never worked with sct.
