safe to supercharge??
Hey guys, I have 66k miles on my stang, and i heard today that it might not be safe to supercharge with that amount of milage. What doyou think?Does anyone have any experience with a supercharged stang with this amount of milage.
Btw, I am not planning to max out the power on it (i dont think lol). I already heard that the stock block can only handle up to 400 hp. Thanks

RE: safe to supercharge??
i would say that it is fine to supercharge.. if you've had the car for a while and you are confident it runs well and everything, i dont see why you shouldnt supercharge if you have the money to do it.. its all in the tune... get a safe conservative tune

get a good tune, 6-8psi, fuel pressure, and o2 gauge.
also, dont try to pull a top speed run. youll run out of fuel and damage the engine.
the Q you should now ask is which s/c to get?
