Question??? I have a 97'GT which is suppoused to have a borg-warner T-45 transmission; however, while checking under my car I saw the tranny says tremec. Does anyone knows the difference between those two or does it mean I got the T-3650 tranny on?

tremec makes the T-45.

You can google t-45 and it will come up on the tremec site.

There the same. I forget how it goes Either Tremec bought the T45 (and other) lines From Borg-Warner or the other way around don't realy remember right now. Do a google search if you realy want to know. I'm to lazy to find the info right now

But back in 97 Borg Warner made the T-45. Borg Warner is stamped right on the side of my T-45.

my t-45 has tremec on it. either way you have a t-45.
