For TPS install click the link and then click on TECH for the 96-04 tps.

http://www.bbkperformance.com/produc...n-sensors.html

Also, after you replace your throttle body you should unhook your battery for 10 mins. (if this time is wrong someone else chime in)
to erase the kam. Once you reconnect and restart the computer will relearn the parameters and should adapt for the tps.

Try that first and if it still revs high then do the adjustment from BBK. Not everyone has to do this.....usually disconnecting the battery solves the problem.

Good Luck

You do not adjust the TPS on your engine. The computer learns it and uses the lowest voltage as closed after every start up. More then likely the blade is open and you need to adjust the set screw on the top left.

The shop manual says "a minimum of 5 minutes", I usually just drop the ground cable when I start any job that messes with the intake or and PCM related systems.[/align]

I just went threw this with mine acufab said the tps seting sould be set at .98 volts to 1.0 volts when I set it at .989 volts it idled at 1500 rpms and yes i had my battery disconnected. what I ended up doing was droped my volts down to .959 volts and it idled perfect with and with out a/c on idled at 750 rpms. and have not had any issues with it since. If you need to know how to adjust volts go on acufab web site and click on tech then download or print out tps adjustment directions butDO NOTfile out screw holes like it sugests to do to gain more adgustment.
