Default 2001 PI intake on sn95

I know this has been brought up and replied my many but I thought I should ask it myself to get the answers to me.

Q: Is it positive that the 2001 PI intake and parts (not including heads) will fit with a 1996 Mustang GT? (Obviously non-PI)
Note: I have the problem with a cracked intake near the back, underneath the heaterhose, behind the throttle body and coolant is leaking.

I will appreciate your responses. Thank You.

Yes, very possible. Either use adapter plates, RTV method, or the search function. And by the way, SN-95 Mustangs are '94 - '04.

There are lots of ways to do this.

Plus a few write ups as well.

They sell adaptor plates that you run along with gaskets, which will work better than anything else. There have been people who seal it up with RTV silicone, but personally I would'nt do that... the 50 bucks for the adaptors IMO is worth the ease of mind knowing it is done right and I will not slam coolant into my engine bay and possibly into the engine itself.

I used the rtv solution. Couldnt find cheap adapter plates when i did it about a year and a half ago. great cheap mod if you dont have the money for a full swap yet. Took me 2 trys to get it right but it runs great now.
