Default Where can I find a good rebuilt T45?

Hi,

My original T45 has finallygone out (cracked housing) after 150k+ miles and I'm looking to replace it with an upgraded T45. I'm sticking with the T45 because of the ease of swap and I've been more than satisfied with mine.

Can anyone recommend a good source for a upgraded rebuilt T45? I've heard of Pro-Motion, Keisler, and Hanley. Does anyone have any first hand experience with these or any others?

1997 Cobra - Stock

Thanks in advance

If you can find a casing, g-force rebuilds t-5 and similar trannys to race-ready standards. All you need is a housing.

go to promotion powertrain. send them your old one and get a core charge. Get the upgraded 26spline w/carbon fiber syncro T45 and total is 800-1000 for a 750hp capable T45. I did mine all seperate but if you dont know how to do it buy it done.

Thanks for the info!

By the casing you guys mean the housing right? If mine is cracked is there a point to sending it in? When they say core return are they referring to the internals or the housing/casing?

Sorry for all the questions. First time dealing with a transmission replacement.

Thanks

I had my T45 built by Bob Hanlon(Hanlon Motorsports). I love it, shifts real good. He can upgrade the input shaft too if you want that done.

ive bought a t5 from astroperformance.com before, then sell rebuilt t45s too

im getting ready to buy a rebuilt 3650 from ddperformance.com, and i know they have t45s as well

both places are stock rebuilds, or better if u want better, and are well priced
