Default Which Brake Pads

I believe my car has the stock pads on it and they are getting low. I'd like to install new pads that provide a little more grip. I get to the track 3-4 times a year but this is mainly my daily driver when the weather is nice.

Any recommendations on a grippy, streetable pad?

Hawk has a full range of pads that are very good, but they're not the cheapest, but I don't think brakes are an item I would try to "cheap" on.

I agree. Hawk HPS pads should do exactly what you're looking for. Performance Friction is another really good brand.

Another +1 for hawk, I would also recommend upgrading to some DRT rotors and stainless brake lines while it is all apart

Thanks for the input. I'm sold on the Hawk HPS pads. I may not do rotors but braided lines are definitely going on.

I never tested them next to each other, but with that set up I'm pretty sure my GT stopped better then my cobra, you should Atleast have your stock rotors turned
