Default UPR Coil-Overs

I started installing my UPR Coil-Overs today on my 01 GT Vert. The installation was going ok and I succesfully drilled out the dust cover support and was able to slide the aluminum "coil-over tube" and there is a notch so that it will not turn. However when I set the coil over tube down it seemed as though the inner diameter of the coil-over tube is ever so slightly larger than the outer diameter of the strut, therefore the notch is not sliding all the way down. Has anyone else had this problem.

I went ahead and installed everything and just put some weight on the tubes and I am hoping that they will settle. So I will check in the morning when I install my C/C plates. Thanks in advance!
