Default Coil-Overs

I just installed a set of UPR coil-overs and I am experiencing some noise when turning at very low speeds. Is this a normal characteristic of coil-overs? Thanks

If done correctly and there is no problems with the coilovers, you should notice a decline in nvh. I would be wary if you hear noise specifically coming from your coilover area. What kind of noise is it? You may have done what I originally did when I installed my c/o's (accidently bent the dust shield toward the rotor a little.

It is like a knocking noise, and it only does it when I am turning into a parking space or out of it. bracket.

Typically when you install a tubular K member and coil overs it is a bit noisier. Probably will also notice it when going over bumps, at least I did. If you are using stockA- arms it could be a clearance issue.

Yea when I pull into my drive way I can hear the springs loading one side before the other but the only think I am worried about is when i am turing. I don't like the knocking sound, and I can feel a faint vibration from it in my floorboard.

I have the strange coilovers and if they aren't adjusted all the way out then you can hear the spring bind against the coilover sleeve when it compresses.

Well I just put on the new C/C plates and the noises are gone. I beleive it was the rubber bushing binding when turning at low speed. But now with the bearing in the C/C plate she turns smooth as glass.

The coil-overs were a pain in the butt, but once I got all the bugs worked out they are great. The suspension still bottoms out when going from a bridge to a road due to a bad transfer but thats all the spring rate.

Thanks for everyones help!

What spring rate did you use?? Also, how low did you go?? I would think, with a fair enough spring rate you shouldn't be bottoming out.. With those coilovers, did you keep/add bumpstops??

I did not remove any bump stops, but I didn't see any at the same time.

I went with UPR's 12-250 Coil-Over package, so I am assuming that it is a 250lb coil. I could be wrong though. I have not driven the car enough with the new C/C plates so I am not sure how the new height will effect the bottoming out.
