quietest aftermarket catback?

RE: quietest aftermarket catback?
I have the MagnaFlows with their catted X. You can watch my video if you wish. Keep in mind, the camera I have blows. The sound is much deeper in reality, but not loud. I'm 40 and I don't like loud. At idle, most folks think it's stock. At WOT, they know it is not. The drone at HWY speeds is minimal also. Check out completeexhaust dot com. If you find something you like, call them, tell them you are a member of this forum, and you'll receive a MUCH better price. I bought my cat back and mid pipe and had them delivered for $765 to my door. That's a savings of $200+.

RE: quietest aftermarket catback?
You remind me of me a few months ago. I wanted a cat back that wasnt too loud. After a lot of research I ended up buying flowmaster 40s. I just welded in the mufflers on the stock piping and bought my own tips. Saved me a lot of money versus buying the catback. The bigger pipes will make no power difference on a pretty stock 4.6L. As for the flows, great sound not much drone and its not that loud. But like everyone here says, you will want it louder! Thats why I ordered an O/R H-pipe!

RE: quietest aftermarket catback?
I am starting to really like the sound of the flowmasters. Don't they give off the truest classic muscle car sound? Well I was thinking about buying weld in 40's but then I also want nice tips however with all that installed, I mightaswell just get a whole catback. I am leaning towards the SSS catback, it's got nice rolled tips, 304 stainless throughout, and straight-through mufflers that don't seem too loud.
Anyone know where I can hear the corsa mufflers on a new edge?
Thanks,
Brandon
