Default Romeo max?

Looking to find out what the max horsepower is on the romeo block is capable of? Not the short block, just the block itself.

false information. They use the production 03/04 Cobra cast iron block because of the extra support webbing it provides.

The Cobra block is the exact same block as the GT romeo block the only difference is that it was machined for 4 bolt mains.

They will handle 1400+

Hey 35th For some reason when I try to post in your thread i get an error. So I wasnt knocking you or what you did just that i didnt understand why. I have grown up doing more with less so that isthe way I Think and for $7000 and a sc set up already I would have made 600rwhp. But congrats on what you did.

Sorry for the thread jack but I already answered your questions so I dont care

Then what would you use for a build? 03-04 Cobra Block for 874.17 from ford or find a nice teksid blockfor 300-400 bucks?

If you can find a teksid for only $300-$400 then get it but I doubt it unless you find an idiot that doesnt know what hes selling. I always use romeo blocks and I always buy them used. Brand new fresh blocks are not the best choice for high hp engines.

Here's one for 275 and this isnt an uncommon price for them from what I have seen.
