Hey i was wondering what catback would be the loudest w/ my stock H-pipe? I've heard the slp lm 1 & 2's are loud but just wondering about the loudest. Its got 2 be w/ my stock headers and H though, emissionshere .

Well, they get raspy and trashy with an O/R midpipe. IMO they sound like crap, but they are loud. You could always look for another catback and get an O/R midpipe and switch it back whenever you have to test.

it sucks cuz i have it every year. I might buy the lm1's and just buy the lm2 mufflers later if i don't like the 1's.

Heres a clip I made last year with LM1's and MRT catted H. It will be a tad quieter with the stock midpipe.

wow. that sounds really nice. would it make any difference if i bought the slp H-pipe and an lm1 compared 2 my stock H and the lm1?

Well SLP doesn't make an H pipe. The only catted H on the market for our cars is the MRT. An aftermarket catted H will be a little louder than the stocker. I'd suggest deciding on what catback you want and then seeing how you like it, then you can go from there on the midpipe decision. LM1's with the stock h will be plenty loud until you get used to it, then you'll want more.

i think i'll see how the lm1 sounds, then change the midpipe later if i want to.

I have an slp lm1 im pretty sure, it came with the car and it has stock H pipe and its loud, sounds really good at idle but when you rev it really high it gets raspy at first i thought there was an exhaust leak or somthing but nope thats how its sounds. You get used to it after I had my car running for 4 hours straight while revving the **** out of it for a while so i got used to it after 1 day lol (it didnt moveanywhere for those 4 hours) Oh and btw they look great i mean really good it makes the carthat muchbetter.
