Default RE: 96 Convertible Lift Cylinder question

After taking out the seat and rear panels, I have discovered a leaking lift cylinder. It appears to be leaking at the top where the piston goes in and out. My 2 questions are: (1) Can a seal be replaced are will I be replacing the lift cylinder?(2) Can someone copy and paste the procedure to remove and install the lift cylinder from a Ford service manual? Many thanks in advance.Brian
