ok so im really confused here. i see on youtube all these z28 camaros beating termis and mach 1's and stuff pretty bad. well onepulls up to me today while im hanging out with my friends and starts talkn **** about ford and stuff and about how bad he would smoke my punypony and stuff... so i told him lets race. bone stock 00 ls1 auto.. vs my diablo tuned, bbk cai, borla exhaust and o/r x pipe. auto.. so from the videos ive seen im thinking im gonna get smashed. so he stops i pull beside him and he told me to honk.. he was holding his rpms up i didnt, honked 3 times, he spun a lil, i spun bad, he pulled about a car length ahead of me before i stopped spinning and he stayed a car length all the way up to 130. does anybody know why on youtube bonestocks are beating cobras and mach 1's but when i raced one i barely even lost?

stock ls1 estimated 1/4 mile is 13.6
stock termi estimated 1/4 mile is 12.9

there is no way stock for stock a termi would lose... you on the other hand are probably running a 14.1 or so so he should beat you, he could have been just playing with you...when you get those 4.10's you should see alot better results

your race should have been worse for you..stock for stock he's got more than a half second edge, and should have molested your poor GT after 80-90 mph...

hell,,,,0-100 should have been 3-4 cars, let alone another 30 mph after that

yeah as mentioned above, they either werent real termi's or were far from stock camaros. Youtube is decent for intertainment but just like any other type of media, it can be (the majority of the time)flawed

You are confused, I got 03 GT 5spd w/CAI & no cats and i jumped on a 00 SS 6spd maro from the dig and stay a car length ahead the whole way until 120mph.

Sorry but you are, that guy just couldnt drive, I raced a trans am and igot him off the line by a about 4 car links then he came up real fast but i think he was spraying but that guy couldnt drive either.
I would trade my car for a ls1 6 speed ls1s are great.
