Default Going to pick up pro-kit:

Well this evening hopefully I will have in my hands the eibach pro-kit. I can not wait. But while I am I have a few questions regaurding it. If I leave the rubber insulators out will it be lower?? and is it ok. Also they 1.5in and the S.L 2.0 .5 Difference is this true. Some cars with the pro-kit look just so different than some. I just hope mine isnt quite as low as the sportlines but sure the heck noticeable....Thanks

iso's will be minimal, but while your there its all up to you....i just wrapped the ends of the rears in duct tape so theres no metal on metal, the fronts are still in....its minimal but its up to you

I have the prokit and it lowered it another 1/2 inch. First I started with the front and it road great still, then I took out the rears and now I can tell the difference but it still rides great.

Ok good news. 1/2in more drop is good. I am looking so forward to saying goodbye to the 4x4 look haha. I sure hope the pro-kit suits me! I really think it will shoot for 80 bucks I dont think I went wrong. as long as I can tell it is lower than it is now I will be happy. Oh btw why does some cars (new gen) look different with the pro-kit? I was leaning towards the iso's....specially if it give it another 1/2in

Ah, tehPro Kit....I'll never pass up a chance to discourage someone from buying them....[>:]

I hate them. If you want a slight drop with the same ridiculous amounts of squatting, diving and body roll get the Pro Kit. If you want a little more performance and drop, go Sportline. If you want the best possible handling, qualityand the best chances of getting an even drop (mineis off by as much as 3/8 of an inch [:@]) this side of coilovers, go with H&Rs.

I took mine out and now I think the drop is almost perfect but it's still soft as ****. Blew out my stock shocks and struts 2 weeks later. Dunno if if that had anything to do with anything else, but oh well...

Here's an idea of the differences between stock, Pro Kit, and Pro Kit without isos:

Stock:

Pro Kit:

Pro kit, no isos:

Thanks fot posting the pictures (It looks great)...I am so ready to just go pick up my springs this evening. Hopefully I will have them in and some pictures up by Wed Lord Willing. I am 100% not running the iso lol..BTW my car still has the factory wheels =-( on 225 45s I hate them but they was on it when I got them. the tires anyways. That is a pretty low pro for a 17in wheel. I knOW i am not going to have once fender space after the drop but I am still going to have alot aint i?
