Now, if only I had the car back...Was told they had to replace all the syncro's as 1st gear was worn down and 3rd was showing signs. They also said they had to replace 1st gear because it had a chip in it (WTF?). I'm trying not to think what the previous owner did to the car in order to chip 1st gear...Anyways, still have the K&N FIPK chilling on the floor in my house, and I'll have the tuner in a few days. Anyone run this one? I ended up ditching Superchips b/c they don't recalculate for tire size, at least that's what their website says. My dad has a Power Programmer III on his powerstroke and it did make a big difference.

I had been looking at those but they seemed to allow you to change a lot of important stuff...stuff that in the hands of a newb could probably destroy your engine...so for ease of use I chose the PPIII. Plus, Summit is selling 'em for $299 versus everywhere else for $399. And Crutchfield, which is the biggest rip off on the planet, sells em for $499!!! Anyways, it was cheaper than SCT/Diablo, and seems pretty easy to use. Plus, like i said, my dad really enjoyed the benefits his PPIII gave his Powerstroke.
