hey guys. my next mod is going to be gears for my 02 GT. I wanted to go with the 4.10's but i do intend to go F/I some point down the road. My question is, even witha fully built suspension, and nice tires, is having4.10's with a supercharger toomuch for the car to handle? Will i just be spinning too much??

that depends on what type of blower you plan on running. With a kenne bell, yes it will be over kill. With a centri, no it will not be. I run 4.10s with a vortech with fully built suspension and STREET TIRES and it hooks fairly decent for the tires. That says something for when i finally do step up to radials

hmm, that gives me something to think about, but to be honest,i was thinking of the kenne bell 2.1l blower

I don't know if it will be a problem on the launch but I have a blower setup on my 02 GT and I redline it crossing the 1/4 with 3.73s. With 4.10s you might have to go into 5th gear which is useless, when you are racing anyway.

i have to go into 5th gear alot when racing and its the end of the race when i go there

how are your 1st and 2nd gears? do you spin a lot?
