2003 Mach 1

RE: 2003 Mach 1
I just got back from looking at it and well, it was definately hit hard thats for sure! The only way of fixing it is to weld the complete back half of another Mach 1 together. So now I have to find a Mach with front end damage. Where do I even begin to look? I did however have another idea. Correct me if i'm wrong, but the Mach 1 is pretty much a GT just with different body panels so if I found a wreck GT I could use the back half of that?
Thanks

WTF ARE YOU DOING!?!?!?!?
You want to essentially weld a muscle car together...
That sounds like one of the worst ideas to me. For the headache, money, and then still having a POS when you're done, just spend the extra money.

People do all kinds of stupid stuff all the time, doesn't make it right. Esp. on a car w/ a fairly integrated frame, it just seems like the opposite of what you'd want. Not to mention no one would touch it if they knew it was two cars welded together. By the time you're done I bet you're at $15,000.... Get a damn sn95 and do a motor swap or a 99GT and S/C it...

Why is it such a bad idea? People do it all the time, and if done right you'll never notice anything happened.

people also drive drunk all the time.......that doesn't make it a good idea.
you're nutz if you buy it........unless you're buying it for parts. welding 2 cars together is unsafe no matter what anyone else tells you. it's different if it's an old car where the body sits on the chassis but in today's car where the body IS the frame it's just not a good idea.
