RE: Short vid of 4.30's
I'm using a set of Aurora 275/40/17's.
I rode the clutch all the way out to 3500 rpms or so, I never really popped it. I'm just used to driving with 4.10's, I think I got the whole launching technique under my belt pretty good.
At the track though, I get nervous and spin them through 3rd, which sucks.

Hahahahaha, I have a set of V6 pony wheels, I'm thinking about putting on some BFG's, just because I'm familiar with the tire and I can get them relatively cheap, have you tried out the new ET Streets?

I havent. You will love launching on BFG's though. I have a set of them on pony wheels and I launched at 5000 rpms and hooked every inch of the way. I pulled a 1.85 on my bolt on with them. I was happy.

I had BFG's on my old car and they were gods gift to street radials, I LOVED THEM.
I've tried Nitto's and wasn't very happy because you really need to ROAST them to get any stickyness.

yeah i think yall are right...it just didnt seem like it revved very fast compared to what im used to in the 3.90's...but then again i get no traction at all due to the nittos. I bet 4.30's feel so great though when they hook!
