-new to the site but i hope you can help me-

On my passenger side the rubber molding weatherstripping on the rear quarter window has ripped off from the actual window, (when the top is down the piece flaps in the wind) Originally the Ford dealer near me said oh yes we can order you that rubber strip and put it right on, well they ordered me the piece that goes horizontally along the window and not vertically. They said you can not order just the vertical weatherstripping piece, they say the only way to fix it is to order a whole new piece of glass with all the rubber pieces already on. Of course they want somewhere near a grand for this bs. Please tell me theres a place i can get this vertical strip? any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks a lot

i looked all through that website you recommended, lots of weatherstripping but i couldnt find the specific vertical piece thats connected to the quarter window. hmmm

Did you try calling them? Call them and ask someone that works there they might have it just listed under some other place.
