Has no one ever had a problem with an automatic transmission sticking in one gear too long?

Is it slipping? If so, you need to check/replace your transmission fluids. I guess that's what your trying to describe? Possible tranny bout to **** out on you, too. I had this happen to my silverado and the clutch plates fell to the bottom of the tranny after a week of it slipping...

You should have your transmission serviced, i.e. bleed the transmission and have the fliud replace. I had a Dodge 1500 that was doing the same thing and i had the transmission serviced and the problem disappeared. It cost me about 120 bucks but that was cheaper than a new tranny.
