ABS Light
I cant figure out why my ABS light keeps lighting up. For the past 5 days it will be on when i start the car or a few minutes after im driving down the road. but it does go off 5 to 10 mins after. What would be causing this to happen?

RE: ABS Light
You have a short... Check the passenger side cable back to the rear wheel. That seems to be the normal place for wear with over sized tires.

RE: ABS Light
Also doesnt the brake light come on if your low on brake fluid?

RE: ABS Light
ok i checked the fluid its fine. but the cablei dont know what im looking for. i can see the brake line, parking brake cable, and two others i dont know what they are one goes to the front of thepassenger side rotor. the other up into the trunk. would one of those be it?

RE: ABS Light
check your abs sensors as well could just have one of those bad? what holds it in is a star headed screw that screws in through a rubber bushing into the back side of the rotor.

RE: ABS Light
I would check fuses and sensors since fluid is fine. However, when the lights comes on and you are driving to stabbing the brakes maket he light go away temporarily?
