Getting BORED with the power
Ok guys, im having a tough time deciding on what mod(s) to do next. I'm looking for something pretty dramatic like my 4:10's! Excluding 1st gear and some of 2nd my power is beginning to disappoint me. I definitely do not have to do only one thing. I'm think at least 2 at once, maybe three if i can keep total under a grand. And dont say NOS, i want to build her up a little more before i spray, but trust me, i can already see F/I is probably going to be necessary. My first choices are: Accufab Throttle body(75mm) + plenuim, Shorty Headers, Tri-Ax Short throw shifter, FRPP Alum. Driveshaft, SCT Tuner(cust tuned). Or maybe springs or flywheel. I can instal any of it myself; besides headers or shift kit(just because my paneling around the shifter is a tad loose, and if i was going to change the shifter, might as well let a professional fix the paneling or replace it). So all you guys that have been here before....what would you do? any good combo's out that list. thanks to all ahead of time

No two of those things are gonna give you a huge jump in power. The shift kit will feel awesome, but that's about it.
Even when you get your car to your XXXhp goal, you're gonna get used to it sooner or later! It's just part of having the mod bug.

yea that's what I've def got into now....i realize im going to see anything great but i was just wondering what the experts that have been in this position before think. I'm just wondering if theres any two that jumps out above the rest to yall

throttle body+ plenumand alum shaft. the shaft is supposed to take off up to .20 of a second. and its only 200.00. i wouldn't do shortys cause ive heard the stockmanifolds aren't bad at all. and youd have tochange yourmid pipe. look into drag radials. i had 410s alum shaft, kn intake,75TB, chipped, radials, and slp 1 with h pipe no cats and ran 13.15 in 04 gt launching at 4500. you should be near their.

ZW, yea that's why i have to go with shorties because i do not want to redo my exhaust! i didn't catch that. It's a 5spd. Sorry for calling it a shift kit Steve. i just didn't know how to spell Steeda Tri-ax or tria-x or Tri-x or whatever
