alright im a stock 96 auto gt if u havent already figured that out.. Well what should i do first ... get 3.73 's and a shift kit?? where could i find those and how much would the cost be? should i take off all the cats i have and put straight pipe and then magnaflow or something? Any suggestions from anyone (other than selling it and buying a 5-speed) will be greatly appreciated.

I would recomend the 3.73's and a custom program chip, or tuner. I believe you can use something like a superchips tuner to adjust you shift points like mine with the AODE trans. Once I adjusted the shift pressure and points it really made my automatic trans scream.

You should take your cats off, put on a nice h-pipe and do the magnaflow mufflers.

Go with the 3.73 gears before the shift kit, if for some reason you run out of money or lose interest in modding, the gears will benefit you more than say stock gears & a shift kit..
